Job Overview

This position plays a crucial role in supporting the development team with greenfield development, acquisitions, and project pipeline delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects and stakeholders, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining effective communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, management, and delivery of solar and wind portfolios at various stages of development from site evaluation to pre-construction.
  • Engage with landowners to secure land agreements (heads/option/lease).
  • Collaborate with external consultants – technical and environmental – to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Work closely with the technical team on potential site layouts and initial yield analysis.
  • Coordinate with the renewables project team on land, planning, and stakeholder engagement issues.
  • Progress grid applications with in-house technical support and engage with relevant Distribution Network Operators (DNOs).
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Attend industry events and workshops to expand professional networks.

Requirements

  • Ability to think creatively and find practical solutions to complex problems.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and spoken, to convey analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Able to understand and value others' perspectives.
  • Structured and logical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with a willingness to provide support to colleagues.
  • Two to three years' experience working in a similar capacity within the energy or related industry.
  • Excellent commercial insight and research competencies for assessing new business models and key value drivers of projects.
  • Ability to build strong, cooperative relationships with key teams involved in project realization.
  • Clean driving license.
  • Right to work in EU/Ireland.
