Key Financial Analyst Role

The company is seeking an experienced financial analyst to join their high-performing team. As a key financial analyst, you will be responsible for developing and delivering robust project finance models for investment appraisal, acquisition analysis, forecasting, and debt structuring.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver robust project finance models for various purposes including investment appraisal, acquisition analysis, and forecasting.
  2. Mentor and support junior team members in best practices for financial modelling and model governance.
  3. Ensure data integrity by applying stringent validation processes and incorporating robust checks and controls within all models.
  4. Review and improve existing models ensuring they align with business needs and financial modelling standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience with a strong academic background in a numerate discipline (minimum 2:1 degree).
  • Proven expertise in project finance modelling, with advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of VBA.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in preparing reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams, demonstrating strong analytical and business diagnostic skills.
