Job Title: Agricultural Sales Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Agricultural Sales Specialist to join our team. As an Agricultural Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new clients in the agricultural industry.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent role offering excellent benefits. You will have the opportunity to work with a leading International Agribusiness, sourcing, producing, and selling a range of conventional commodity fertilizers, specialty fertilizer and soil conditioning products, as well as animal mineral blocks and bio-stimulants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients in the agricultural industry
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local co-ops and merchants
  • Provide technical advice and support to farmers regarding our range of products and soil sustainability program
  • Attend trade shows and other industry events to promote the company's products and services
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and identify new business opportunities
Requirements:
  • Commercial knowledge, sales, and advisory skills experience
  • From a farming background with excellent knowledge of farming or possess a qualification relevant to our industry
  • Willing to work hard to succeed in a rapidly changing market-place
  • Technically minded with an ability to create and close sales opportunities
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed in a challenging direct sales environment
