This is a key role for an expert in immersion and Gaeltacht education and/or applied linguistics.
- We are seeking a specialist with a deep understanding of the Council of Europe Framework of Reference for Languages and European and national policy regarding the Irish language.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supervising on the Irish language education programmes in the School, including the supervision of postgraduate student research.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of Irish-medium and Gaeltacht Education, and of Irish-language education in Ireland.
About the Role:
- The post-holder will undertake research, knowledge generation, and dissemination in the field of Irish language education.
