We are seeking an experienced Strategic Commercial Lead to join our high-performing FMCG team. This is a key commercial role, working across trade marketing, category management, and commercial planning in the Off-Trade channel.
You will lead a team of three and play a pivotal role in translating brand and commercial strategy into impactful in-store execution. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Field, Category, and Marketing teams, as well as engagement with international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Leading the execution of trade marketing initiatives across the Off-Trade
- Partnering with commercial leadership to shape and implement growth-driving activity
- Overseeing retail activation, POS planning, and in-store visibility
- Using data and insights to guide commercial strategy and decision-making
- Managing and developing a team across Trade Marketing and Category Management
- Representing the local market in cross-border planning forums
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Significant FMCG experience in trade marketing, commercial planning, or brand management
- A strong understanding of the Irish grocery and convenience retail market
- Proven team leadership and stakeholder management experience
- A hands-on mindset with the ability to connect strategy with execution
- Background in beverages, snacks, or related categories is an advantage
