Our client, a leading hotel based in County Kildare, seeks a seasoned Financial Controller to join their team.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for compiling, analysing and developing month-end financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow etc.
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be monitored and developed providing detailed analysis of revenue, margins, working capital, cashflow etc.
  • Ensuring compliance of Internal Controls and policies for all financial procedures is essential.
  • Assisting the Hotel with the annual operating budget process, including subsequent forecasts throughout the year, is a critical aspect of this role.
  • Preparation and review of Capex proposals for submission to Senior Management and board are also required.
  • Board presentations will need to be prepared by the successful candidate.
  • Technical accounting support for colleagues on an ongoing basis is a key responsibility.
  • Ad-hoc projects/initiatives will require assistance from the leadership team.

About You:

  • A fully qualified individual with prior experience in the Hotel industry is preferred, although flexibility is available.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, is required.
  • The ability to analyse information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems is crucial.
  • A high attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks are necessary.
  • Strong Excel competency is essential.
  • Able to proactively identify and resolve issues, strong analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment is a must.
