Automation MES Project Manager Role Overview

This is a challenging opportunity to manage and coordinate the deployment of manufacturing systems, working with cross-functional teams around the globe. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all activities required by the client's IT Software Development Lifecycle, maintaining ownership of the project's schedule and key milestones, and representing the status of the project to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume an IT project manager leadership role for the complete scope of systems and applications required to establish manufacturing operability.
  • Manage all of the activities required by the clients IT Software Development Lifecycle, which is the principal executional roadmap for IT projects.
  • Maintain ownership of the project's schedule and key milestones.
  • Impartially represent the status of the project and its overall health to stakeholders, team members and other constituents through regular status reports and updates.
Requirements:
  • Degree in relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Automation MES Project Management in a regulated environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Siemens OpsCenter, Aveva PI, LIMS, and SCADA Ignition.
  • Proven experience developing validation plans, protocols, and risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
About the Contract:

This is a 12-month contract position, fully onsite. The contractor will be working on the deployment of manufacturing systems.
