Marine Civil Engineering experience is desirable but not essential.

2 years + Civil Engineering project experience required.

Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills necessary.

Knowledge and experience of relevant industry standards, specifications, regulations, contract documents, and works methodologies required.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills needed.

Irish/EU/UK driving licence required.

Permission to work in Ireland and the UK necessary.

Job Description
  • Assisting the project manager with tender preparation, pre start planning, programming and organisation prior to the start of the project.
  • Ensuring compliance with the contract requirements, and all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Setting out and quality assurance management.
  2. Understanding of Health & Safety requirements to assist the project manager in preparing method statements, risk assessments, site inductions, and toolbox talks etc.
  3. Working alongside the project manager to ensure the project is managed effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Marine Civil Engineering experience is desirable but not essential.
  • 2 years + Civil Engineering project experience.
  • Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant industry standards, specifications, regulations, contract documents, and works methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Irish/EU/UK driving licence.
  • Permission to work in Ireland and the UK.
