Job Overview

A skilled Mechanical HVAC Project Engineer is required to lead the successful execution of mechanical and HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and building services, with experience in developing and reviewing mechanical designs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide regular project progress updates, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.
  • Foster effective communication with suppliers/specialist contractors to ensure equipment is successfully commissioned.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and review mechanical designs.
  • Conduct design reviews, validate equipment and systems.
  • Promote quality by ensuring compliance with project standards during on-site walking down of systems.
Necessary Qualifications
  • Mechanical Engineering/Built Environment Degree is essential.
  • HVAC Experience is highly valued.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in building services is preferred.
  • Excellent IT skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Revit/Navisworks would be an asset.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills are necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team are crucial.
  • The ability to collaborate as part of a large multi-disciplinary team is vital.
