Job Title: Homecare Professional

We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals to join our team in Galway. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.

 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Companionship: Providing emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting social interaction and reducing feelings of loneliness
  • Maintaining Clients' Dignity & Respect: Respecting clients' autonomy, dignity, and privacy at all times
  • End of Life Care: Providing compassionate and sensitive care to clients nearing the end of life
  • Dementia Care: Supporting clients with dementia, using person-centered approaches to promote independence and well-being

 

Requirements:
  • QQI Level 5 or equivalent qualifications in healthcare
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably with older adults or individuals with dementia
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
