Health Care Assistant

Comfort Homecare is a rapidly expanding home support provider delivering excellent care to elderly clients and those living with disabilities. We are committed to recruiting compassionate and empathetic carers to provide person-centred care and dignity.

  • We offer competitive pay rates, starting at €15 per hour, with higher rates on Sundays.
  • Additional pay includes €10 for half-hour calls plus a travel allowance of 41c per km.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high standards of emotional, social, and personal care to clients.
  • Adhering to all company policies.
  • Accurate record-keeping.
  • Participating in ongoing training and upskilling.
  • Implementing clients' care plans.
  • Providing practical and emotional support professionally.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Elderly.
  • Be fully reliable and dependable.
  • Possess a full clean driver's license and use of your own vehicle.
  • Be flexible with a can-do attitude.
  • Have a caring and kind disposition, providing a person-centred approach to clients.
  • Possess good communication and practical skills.
  • Have some experience and training (desirable).
  • Be available for weekend and evening work.

  • HCA 1 year (required).

  • Certificate in Care Skills or Healthcare Support (desirable).
  • Full clean driver's license (required).
