Arup is seeking a highly skilled Maritime Engineer to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of international maritime projects, driving innovation and shaping the future of our consultancy business.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine civil engineering, with experience in design activities for maritime and coastal infrastructure. They will be responsible for undertaking feasibility studies, detailed designs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Arup offices globally.

About the Role- Undertake design activities for maritime and coastal infrastructure from feasibility stage through to detailed design
- Support and guide younger engineers, driving forward innovation in the design of maritime infrastructure
- Collaborate with senior management in the implementation of growth strategy and initiatives for the maritime consultancy
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing, working with multidisciplinary teams across Arup offices globally
- Engineering degree qualified in civil/structural engineering
- At least 3 years post–qualification design experience in ports and maritime infrastructure
- Experience in early stage design of energy transition related port infrastructure (wind, hydrogen or liquid carbon) would be an advantage
- Two or more years' experience in Irish/UK market and/or knowledge of one or more European languages would be an advantage
