We are seeking a skilled and experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee all aspects of inventory operations, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of stock.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining the supply chain and supporting manufacturing output. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing strategies to optimize inventory levels, reducing costs, and improving operational efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Oversee the procurement of stock, equipment, and supplies required for daily operations.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure advantageous terms.
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities to ensure accurate inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with sales, aftersales, and systems departments to forecast demand and prepare purchasing plans.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track inventory, orders, and deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal guidelines in all inventory operations.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience in inventory management and procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and data analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.
  • Forklift license and all required safety courses.
  • Proficiency in modern inventory management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
