Our Role

The team is responsible for developing a strategic approach to regulatory matters aligning with Group ambitions. This pivotal role supports the delivery of EirGrid Group's Corporate Strategy in Ireland and the evolving European energy landscape, including the energy transition, offshore development, and European matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in carrying out EirGrid's regulation function, including regulatory reporting, public consultations, and preparing recommendations for Regulatory Authority approval.
  • Support the management of the business's regulatory programme, including coordination of Price Review ongoing reporting requirements.
  • Compile regulatory deliverables and compliance requirements.
  • Act as point of contact for specific regulatory deliverables with the Regulatory Authorities.
  • Support the Procurement of external consultants, as required, to support delivery of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Support the Group Head of Regulation and Team Leads in relation to strategic regulatory projects.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree or other recognized qualification in business, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability to draft and present documentation in a rational, evidence-based, clear, and concise manner.
  • High level of attention to detail and pride in one's own work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, while also being able to define and guide work under minimal supervision.
