Key Responsibilities:

  • Workshop Management: Manage and develop the workshop, providing technical support to staff and customers.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure maximum utilization and quality from the workshop, achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Planning and Record-Keeping: Control the planner, record, and process information on work carried out to customer vehicles.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the team of technicians and support the front-of-house teams within the service department.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping: Maintain workshop housekeeping standards and report any additional tools or equipment required to carry out work effectively.

Requirements:

  • Target Achievement: Demonstrable ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical knowledge and previous experience in a similar or technical role.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Certification: Qualified technician/machanic with certificates would be desirable.
