Job Title: Senior HR Generalist
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and skilled HR professional to take on a key role in our organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and delivering HR policies and procedures, including recruitment, talent development, diversity and inclusion, benefits, and general HR activities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years' experience in training and HR roles in a manufacturing unionized environment. They will possess excellent knowledge of training, HR plant processes, systems, and personnel. A CIPD qualification or equivalent is required. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Suite, Workday, and Core.
The role involves assisting with achieving KPIs and targets in EHS, Quality, Service, Cost, People Development, and Continuous Improvement. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures, continuously seeking improvements to internal HR procedures that align with legislation. This includes being a proactive member of the diversity, equity, and inclusion committee.

- Ensure training records, matrices are kept up to date to audit standards – FDA, ISO, TUV IMB, ENHESA, NSAI, IDA to name a few.
- Establish best practices to reduce levels of absenteeism in the company – documenting and managing control procedures and managing capability improvement in leadership.
- Improve existing performance management practices with specific focus on high-quality appraisals, recognition of excellent performers, and management of under-performing employees.
- Conduct all disciplinaries/grievances fairly and consistently.
- Support Supervisors and Managers proactively and efficiently with employee relations.
- Report and escalate any health and safety issues and promote a safe company culture and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure completion of payroll, management information reporting on time.
- Support Talent Acquisition team with open roles and lead recruitment process from end to end.
