Job Title: Experienced Culinary Professional

Our prestigious establishment in the South of Dublin seeks a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To prepare and cook high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with senior chefs to ensure seamless ordering and inventory management, as well as adhere to established price structures and supplier relationships.
  • Maintain minimal food waste and train junior staff on recipes, presentation techniques, and cooking skills.
  • Contribute to menu development by suggesting innovative ideas, participating in cook-offs, writing out recipes, and determining costs for new menus across all hotel outlets.
  • Ensure adherence to the highest standards of hygiene and safety practices throughout the kitchen and all food and beverage areas, including record-keeping and HACCP compliance.
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and report any issues with broken or unsafe equipment.
  • Reflect and enhance the hotel's mission statement and objectives in daily activities.
  • Adhere to all guidelines outlined in the employee handbook.
Requirements for the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of experience in a high-end 4-star operational role, with a proven track record of creating exceptional cuisine and banquet experience.
  • Hold a valid work permit.
  • Excel in a team environment and demonstrate passion for cooking, creativity, and innovation in menu development.
  • Possess excellent hygiene and HACCP experience.
