To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fresh food knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills

  • A strong understanding of food safety and HACCP knowledge

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the running of the fresh food department
  • Rostering, planning, making lunch schedules, and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Responsible for a highly skilled team, planning out their workload, directing work, and ensuring tasks are completed correctly
  • Inventory and stock management, keeping back stock to appropriate levels
  • Working closely with stakeholders to get the best performance out of the department

  • Maintaining high standards across the business
  • Performance management of your team, ensuring they are reaching maximum efficiency in their work, training, and coaching staff
