We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Delicatessen Assistant.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and delivering excellent customer service. As a Delicatessen Assistant, you will play a key role in preparing high-quality hot and cold deli products, ensuring customer satisfaction is always the top priority.
Main Responsibilities- Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas, including making sandwiches and rolls, serving hot food, and slicing meats according to portion control measures.
- Cook, prepare, and display foods sold throughout the day, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Demonstrate passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes, and personal recommendations with customers.
- Handle customer queries efficiently, professionally, and in line with company policies.
- HACCP training is desirable but not necessary.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous customer service experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, multi-task under pressure.
