The primary function of a senior project engineer is to provide technical expertise and support to the project manager and team in executing life science projects based in Longford.
Key responsibilities include facilitating daily liaison between the project team, design team, and subcontractors. Additionally, performing thorough technical verifications of civil engineering designs, models, and drawings are essential to ensuring project success.
Other critical tasks involve implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting concrete pre/post pour checks, resolving complex technical issues, and monitoring safe working practices on site.
Technical proficiency in utilizing GPS, robotic total station, and levelling equipment is required. Furthermore, excellent IT skills, including knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, and Microsoft applications, are necessary for effective project execution.
\Required Skills & QualificationsA relevant third-level degree is mandatory, coupled with at least six years of experience working with main contractors or sub-contractors.
Previous experience in managing civil engineering projects, encompassing roads, drainage, utilities, and site development works, is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navis works, is also required.
