We are seeking a talented Transportation Design Engineer to join our team in Dublin.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the field of transportation and traffic design.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading the design and development of traffic and transportation infrastructure projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable and efficient solutions, preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, performing technical assessments, traffic flow analysis, and road safety audits, and supporting project management teams in the delivery of design projects within budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Transportation Design Projects: Develop innovative and effective transportation design solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with colleagues from various disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Prepare Engineering Deliverables: Create high-quality engineering drawings, specifications, and reports to support project implementation.
  • Evaluate Compliance: Ensure all projects meet relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Analyze Traffic Flow: Conduct thorough traffic flow analysis and road safety audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in civil design, particularly in the traffic and transportation sectors.
  • Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MX Roads.
  • Familiarity with traffic analysis tools like ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG is desirable.
  • Experience working on active travel projects such as cycling infrastructure and pedestrian paths is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
