Senior Fund Accounting Specialist Role

This is a key position in our organization, responsible for maintaining the accounting records of our funds, including NAV calculations and financial statement preparation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fund operations, preferably with alternative funds. They will be part of a high-growth team and will work closely with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely delivery of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accounting records and perform NAV calculations
  • Prepare financial statements and regulatory reports
  • Ensure established controls are followed during daily and NAV production cycles
  • Participate in new fund launches and contribute to department initiatives
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues and clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 12 months+ experience in fund operations with alternative fund experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, build positive working relationships, and take responsibility for assigned work
  • Effective communication, both written and oral
  • Strong organizational and process management skills
  • Experience with analysis of trial balances, general ledger entries, and basic fee calculations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications
  • Certification in finance or business (desired)
