We are seeking a seasoned Private Equity Fund Accounting Manager to oversee the closed-end fund accounting process, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time. This role requires a deep understanding of the operational and reporting needs of private equity fund structures.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a team and maintaining high-quality client service. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, managing capital calls and distributions, performing investor allocations, preparing performance reports, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of the private equity accounting team.
- Manage and process capital calls and distributions.
- Perform investor allocations and maintain waterfall models.
- Prepare performance reports, including internal rate of return (IRR) calculations.
- Calculate net asset values and prepare financial statements.
- Handle ad hoc reporting requests for clients and investors.
- Serve as a key contact for clients, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure the team adheres to established internal controls and procedures.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of up to 10 employees.
- Resolve fund accounting queries escalated by team members.
