Advanced Vehicle Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Midlands. The successful candidate will be based at one of our dealerships and have qualifications in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing tasks as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy
  • Communicating with the parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Assisting in diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repairs after confirming authorization by the customer
  • Saving and tagging parts under warranty or requested by the customer
  • Examining vehicles and performing health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required
  • Notifying service advisors immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
  • Road-testing vehicles to spot-check work performed
  • Keeping up-to-date with technical bulletins and attending factory-sponsored training classes

Requirements include:

  • Being a qualified Vehicle technician currently working in a franchised dealership or independent service centre
  • Having good communication skills and the ability to identify and explain additional work required
  • Having a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Having a valid EU work permit and full valid driving licence
