Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to fill a key role in our team. As the Person in Charge, you will be responsible for the overall management of our service, ensuring that we provide the highest standards of care and support to our residents.

Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional person-centred care, with a strong emphasis on health promotion, reviews, and personal risk assessments. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to coordinate appointments and ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.

You will be responsible for mentoring and leading our staff team, providing supervision, appraisals, and regular team meetings. Your leadership skills will be essential in maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.

In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will also be required to stay up-to-date with current developments within the profession and commit to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall delivery of our service, ensuring high standards of care and support.
  • Deliver person-centred care plans, focusing on health promotion, reviews, and personal risk assessments.
  • Mentor and lead our staff team, providing supervision, appraisals, and regular team meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to coordinate appointments and ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Stay informed of current developments within the profession and commit to ongoing professional development.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a degree in another relevant Allied Healthcare related discipline.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector.
  • Qualification in Health or Social Care management (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
