This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic manufacturing engineering team as a Process Engineer.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative environment, working with a team dedicated to innovation, operational excellence, and employee growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead product and process evaluations, ensuring thorough documentation and quality standards.
- Support manufacturing teams on critical issues, including major customer complaints, line-down situations, and validations.
- Investigate and resolve process deviations, implementing corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
- Operate and evaluate equipment changes, providing hands-on training to operators to ensure smooth production.
- Communicate regularly with customers and project managers on project status and progress.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues to foster knowledge sharing.
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean, Kaizen, and quality tools to enhance overall performance.
- Evaluate strict adherence to Health & Safety and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- A third-level degree in Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar manufacturing or process engineering role is required.
- Experience within the medical device sector or a regulated industry is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in structured methodologies (e.g., FMEA, root cause analysis) are necessary.
- Hands-on experience with process validations, Lean principles, and technical report writing is required.
