Sought after Specialist Leading Environmental Projects
This is an exciting opportunity to lead site investigation, contaminated land and remediation projects. As a key figure in the company, you will be responsible for designing, managing and interpreting ground investigations for environmental and geotechnical assessments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Designing and managing ground investigations for environmental and geotechnical assessments.
- Assessing contaminated land risks and preparing human health and controlled waters risk assessments.
- Preparing technical reports including Phase I and II Environmental Assessments, remediation strategies and validation reports.
Requirements:
- A degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology or a related Earth/Environmental Science.
- A minimum of 6+ years' experience in geo-environmental consultancy or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of contaminated land risk assessment, soil and groundwater sampling and remediation design.
- A proven track record of leading projects and managing client relationships.
- A full driving license and willingness to travel within Ireland.
- Chartered status or working towards it is desirable as is familiarity with GIS, groundwater modelling or geotechnical software.
- Experience working within Irish regulatory frameworks is necessary.
- A Project Management qualification or experience managing multi-disciplinary projects would be beneficial.
