Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective infection control strategies to minimize the risk of infection among residents and staff.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of infection risk.
- Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Care Team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to care staff on infection control procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to infection control.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Nursing degree
- Continuous membership with the Irish Nursing and Midwifery Board
- Postgraduate degree in Gerontology
- Prior experience providing care for the elderly
