Job Description

We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team in Navan, Co Meath. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and periodic safety checks on a wide variety of makes and models of HGVs, heavy plant, and commercial road maintenance vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of HGV/heavy equipment systems, components, and diagnostic tools. They will also possess experience in identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on HGVs & road maintenance plant & equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tyre rotations to prevent breakdowns and maximise vehicle performance.
