Job Overview

A leading provider of accountancy and advisory services is seeking a recently qualified accountant to join their team. This role offers strong career progression and the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years' post-qualification experience, a background in practice, and an interest in broadening skills and taking on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete client files and financial statements to a high professional standard, ensuring delivery within deadlines.
  • Manage accounts preparation and income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, and company directors.
  • Draft financial reports and present results of engagements to senior management.
  • Supervise and train junior staff, providing technical guidance and leadership on client assignments.
  • Identify and address areas of non-compliance with accounting standards.
  • Contribute to statutory accounting, compliance, and related services across a wide client base.
  • Engage in client relationship management, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong business acumen and ability to act as an effective advisor to clients.
  • Proven experience in preparing Irish income tax and related returns.
  • Skilled in report writing and presenting to senior management.
  • Experience supervising assignments and managing client relationships.
