*Supermac's Head Office in Ballybrit Business Park, Galway, currently have a vacancy for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to progress towards becoming a qualified accountant*

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Head Office Accountant the Accounts Assistant will manage the recording of daily sales and related duties, to ensure that sales and payments are correctly recognized, controlled and accounted for in each location and franchising debtors management.

THE JOB:

  • Creditor Control and Accounts Payable
  • Recording of daily sales and related transactions
  • Posting bank statement transactions
  • Reconciling cash clearing & bank accounts
    •
  • Completing various excel management reports
  • Inputting of invoices and credit notes as required
  • General Ledger Department Cost Reporting
  • Other ad hoc duties that may arise

THE PERSON:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to use own initiative and work to deadlines
  • Effective multi-tasker with the ability to focus on key priorities
  • Attention to detail and sees tasks through to completion
  • Self assured with ability to create positive working relationships
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements of the role
  • Good working knowledge of accounts package and MS office
  • Suitable for a part qualified accountant or person with relevant experience (> 3yrs) in similar role.
