Job Title: Water Systems Development Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will have a strong background in water systems development, with experience in designing and developing storm and foul drainage networks for housing, industrial, and commercial applications.

The role will involve working on a range of challenging and dynamic projects, including the design and development of storm and foul drainage networks, as well as drafting design drawings and reports. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will also have knowledge of industry standard software models, including Microdrainage, and be familiar with Flood risk assessments and 3D design applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop storm and foul drainage networks for housing, industrial, and commercial applications
  • Drafting of design drawings and reports
  • Management of project-related correspondence
  • Providing support on project information concerning costs and programme
  • Supervision of CAD Technicians to produce detail design drawings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer
  • Previous experience in a design role with specific design experience in Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, Storm and foul gravity collection networks, and Road and Pavement design
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3d, Revit, or similar drafting and BIM packages
  • Full Clean driving license
