Homeless Population Specialist

Cpl Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join their team in the area of Homeless Population and Social Inclusion.
The successful candidate will be based in Cork City and will be a key member of the local multidisciplinary team, delivering this essential service. This appointment will be on the Public Only Consultant Contract 2023 by the Health Service Executive, working 37 hours per week.
This post may be subject to restructuring in the future to facilitate the reorganization of acute services in line with new clinical models of acute and community services.
Eligibility Criteria- Registered as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialties of psychiatry.
- Demonstrate expertise in investigation, diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders in this specialist area of psychiatry.
- Display evidence-based clinical knowledge in making decisions regarding client care.
- Demonstrate effective planning and organizing skills.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and awareness and appreciation of the service user.
- Demonstrate leadership and team management skills including the ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
