Senior Audit Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced audit professional to join our client's Cork team as an Audit Senior.

About the Role:
  • This challenging and rewarding role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of audits and advisory projects, leading teams in completing statutory financial statements and audit files to comply with International Standards on Auditing (Ireland).

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead audit teams in completing statutory financial statements and audit files.
  2. Train junior staff in technical aspects of accounts preparation, auditing, and taxation.
  3. Complete auditing, accounting, and taxation assignments to internal quality control standards within agreed deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Strong professional and technical knowledge gained through education and experience.
  • Membership of a recognised Professional Institute of Accountants is required.
  • Good working knowledge of Accounting Standards and Irish tax legislation.
  • Excellent IT and computer skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Organisational skills with ability to manage diversified workload.
