Supply Planning Manager

We are seeking a skilled Supply Planning Manager to join our Global Planning Organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability of finished goods to fulfill customer demand by managing stock levels, provisions, and distribution modes in conjunction with demand planning, commercial functions, and manufacturing operations.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite per week in Ringaskiddy or Dublin. Intermittent travel is required.

Job Description:
  • Translate network plans into short-term replenishment plans, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure inventory is maintained within healthy ranges.
  • Establish critical inventory parameters, monitor and track inventory levels, and reconcile inventory variances.
  • Determine feasible volume-based supply plans monthly for assigned products and business units.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Use and maintain planning systems to define safety stocks, replenishment frequency, and quantities.
  • Leverage technology and analytics to simulate the impact of changes to key input parameters.
  • Partner with stakeholders in Global Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing Operations to support strategic and operational objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient understanding of overall supply planning processes and finished goods planning concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to generate insights from quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Proficiency in using SAP and inventory planning systems and common data software such as Excel and Power BI.

Others:
  • BS/B.Sc. in Supply Chain, Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Certification in supply chain from APICS, CPIM, or Lean Practices (i.e. Green Belt) desired.
  • Minimum 8 years of practical leadership experience in Sales & Operation Planning, Demand Management, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Data Analytics, or other related functions.
