Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within hotels or in a similar role and will possess a genuine passion for food.

As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen, including taking direction from department managers and monitoring food quality and hygiene standards.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a team player and able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.

Additionally, you will be required to adhere to HACCP regulations at all times and support your fellow kitchen staff in observing appropriate systems of hygiene during food preparation and storage.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience working within hotels or in a similar role.
  • Possession of a genuine passion for food.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Capacity to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
  • Knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
