Operations Manager Role

The Operations Manager oversees all aspects of operations at the facility, including production, logistics, stock management, maintenance activities, and project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operational activities across production, logistics, stock management, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all critical tasks.
  • Establish and maintain effective non-conformance recording and review processes.
  • Review and update standard work and role definitions to ensure clarity, achievable expectations, and accountability.
  • Implement training plans to provide coverage for critical positions across all shifts.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
  • Significant operations management experience (ideally 5+ years) in biotech, pharma, or life sciences manufacturing.

This is a demanding role requiring a resilient and results-driven leader who can align teams to shared goals, ensure accountability, and manage change effectively.

Achieving consistent production performance, developing robust operational systems, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement are key objectives.
