Job Title:

Knowledge Lawyer - Banking

A key strategic role in the firm's knowledge function, this position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to legal content, client engagement, and the overall development of practice-wide know-how.


About the Role:
  • Monitor and analyse new Irish and EU legal developments, regulations, and case law.
  • Prepare detailed briefings, bulletins and internal current awareness updates.
  • Develop and manage know-how collections, precedents and templates.
  • Support internal teams on technical legal queries and research requests.
  • Deliver legal training and design educational materials for colleagues and clients.
  • Contribute to developing internal positions on key legal issues.
  • Support legal tech initiatives and knowledge-sharing tools.
  • Prepare client briefings, training materials and legal updates tailored to key sectors.

About You:
  • A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE (ideally in banking and finance).
  • Previous experience in a large commercial law firm or a knowledge/legal research role.
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive, collaborative and commercially minded.
  • Confident presenting, training and working with senior stakeholders.
  • Curious, tech-savvy and enthusiastic about legal innovation.
  • A clear communicator with excellent organisation and project management skills.
