Financial Reporting Specialist Role

The Financial Reporting Specialist will play a crucial role in executing various tasks within the financial reporting or NAV department, adhering to guidelines and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in producing daily, weekly, and monthly NAV reports, ensuring completion of specified tasks per NAV checklists.
  • Perform cash, position, and market value reconciliations between stakeholders.
  • Identify and investigate break items on reconciliations in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate accounting issues and aged items for escalation.
  • Ensure all positions are priced correctly.
  • Verify corporate actions to ensure accurate processing.
  • Prepare daily profit and loss reports and review for reasonableness.
  • Calculate and process income and expense accruals.
  • Comply with defined checklists, procedures, and controls.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve miscellaneous issues.
  • Meet pre-agreed internal and external deadlines consistently.
Pre-requisite Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • 1-3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Accounting, Finance, or Business Degree.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and well organized.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong inter-personal skills.
