Job Description
This role will assist the Governance Function in supporting the management of Subsidiary entity Boards and Committees, facilitating internal and Group reporting, and providing ongoing governance advice to the business.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage Board and Committee meetings within the team, including minutes, actions, and liaison with colleagues on output matters.
- Prepare memos, proposals, and documents for Board/Committee review and consideration.
- Manage and maintain corporate records and documents.
- Oversee subsidiary filing requirements with local Registrars and Regulators.
- C coordinate and review periodic reporting to Head Office and internal reporting to Boards and Committees.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within the business, such as Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Planning, on matters related to Subsidiary entities and Committees.
- Provide comprehensive legal and administrative assistance and guidance.
- Advise on corporate governance matters and best practice, as well as updates on any changes in regulations and legislation.
- Provide ongoing training and development of staff.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
A Chartered Governance Institute Qualification or equivalent is required, along with demonstrable experience working in governance, preferably in Fund Administration or broader Financial Services.
