The Opportunity:

TN Ireland has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team at our new facility in Shannon. Reporting to the Check/Zone Supervisor, the successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining a fleet of over 450 aircraft for one of the world's largest airlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance tasks to ensure the highest level of safety and quality.
  • Ensure all aircraft documentation is completed and certified in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to Health and Safety protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Check/Zone Supervisor to achieve project goals and objectives.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A recognised apprenticeship or traineeship within the aircraft industry is essential.
  • Previous hands-on experience in heavy maintenance activities, along with extensive knowledge of base maintenance operations.
  • Experience working as an aircraft mechanic on Boeing 737 NG/MAX is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
  • Good computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment, including shift work and occasional night shifts.
