About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Public Policy and Research at Focus Ireland. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our research and advocacy strategy, working closely with our Director of Advocacy, Communications and Research.

You will have a third-level degree in a relevant qualification in the area of advocacy or social justice, with at least 5 years' management experience in the advocacy or social justice field. Your experience should include working on policy-oriented campaigns, with a strong understanding of the policy framework and political environment in Ireland.

We are looking for someone who is able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. You should be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
