Product Quality Assurance Manager

The Product Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall quality of AbbVie's products, including pharmaceuticals and biologics. This role involves developing and implementing global product quality assurance strategies to support on-time delivery of products while maintaining compliance with local, divisional, and corporate policies.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in life sciences or a related field, along with 15+ years of relevant experience in plant operations, research and development, or technical roles. They must be able to lead a team of quality professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global product quality assurance strategies
  • Liaise with Research and Development, supply chain, medical safety evaluation, and Commercial functions
  • Review and approve plant Quality Assurance performance reports and financial plans
  • Direct the Quality Assurance initiatives for global sourcing projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in life science or other technical discipline
  • 15+ years of total combined relevant experience
  • At least 2 years Plant experience; at least 5 years in Operations, Research and Development or Technical experience
