Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to coordinate and deliver planning projects, including preparing planning applications, EIARs, and conducting feasibility assessments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support project coordination, prepare planning applications, appeals, and review submissions related to Development Plans and Local Area Plans.
  • Ensure timely project completion by working effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Evaluate planning policies and provide informed recommendations to colleagues.
Requirements:
  • A recognized planning qualification (IPI or RTPI accredited).
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Solid understanding of the Irish planning system and key environmental considerations.
  • Experience in providing planning-related advice.
  • Knowledge of planning, development, and environmental issues.
  • Proficient in drafting reports and making well-rounded recommendations.
  • Strong ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
