Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical QA Tester to join our team in Quebec City. As a Technical QA Tester, you will be responsible for performing various types of manual testing, assisting the programming team with testing specific changes, and ensuring the stability of our production pipelines and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regression, integration, and other types of manual testing
  • Assist the programming team with testing specific changes before code gets into the main developer branches
  • Test and improve production pipelines and tools
  • Test new builds to ensure stability
  • Follow priorities given by the QA Lead to ensure current team-wide goals are met
  • Report bugs, validate bug corrections, and assure follow-up of tickets during different production phases
  • Manage the bug tracking system
  • Provide first-line support for the production team regarding technical issues

Requirements:

  • Passion for video games
  • Experience in programming and/or scripting
  • Good judgment to estimate the significance and consequences of bugs
  • Rigorous and methodical approach
  • Autonomous and resourceful individual
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good communication skills in spoken/written English
