Nurse Manager CNS Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager CNS to join our team. As a CNS nurse manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise to the nursing staff, ensuring that patient care meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication lists, and test results.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse license in good standing with the Nursing & Midwife Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- At least 3 years of post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting, preferably in oncology.
- Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of national strategies in nursing care and recent developments in specialized areas.
