Caring Support Worker

This role involves supporting patients with mobility issues, performing clinical observations, and maintaining accurate records.
- Key Responsibilities:
- • Assist patients with walking and mobility to ensure their safety and comfort.
- • Perform clinical observations such as taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and urinalysis under the supervision of nursing staff.
- • Record accurate patient information and communicate effectively with colleagues and nursing staff.
- • Identify potential hazards and report them to the nurse in charge.
- • Participate in developing a comprehensive care plan for patients.
- • Perform administrative tasks including preparing paperwork and assisting with New Patient Clinics/Simulation Scans.
- • Relevant health skills QQI level 5 qualification or equivalent relevant healthcare qualification.
- • Previous Care Assistant experience within a hospital/nursing home setting.
- • Personal competence and capacity to properly discharge the duties of the role.
