We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic bar professional to join our team at a renowned Dublin pub.

About Us:

  • Located in the heart of Christchurch, we pride ourselves on offering both locals and visitors an authentic Dublin pub experience.
  • We are known for our warm atmosphere, friendly service, and quality pints.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead bar service to ensure exceptional customer care and efficiency at all times.
  2. Pour and serve drinks to the highest standard, maintaining consistency and quality.
  3. Supervise and support junior bar staff, providing guidance where needed.
  4. Manage stock rotation, cellar duties, and ensure kegs and lines are maintained properly.
  5. Handle cash and operate till systems accurately.
  6. Uphold licensing laws and health & safety standards.
  7. Assist management with rostering and smooth running of shifts.
  8. Create a welcoming environment for all customers and resolve any issues professionally.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 years bar experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role.
  2. Strong knowledge of beers, whiskeys, spirits.
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  4. Ability to lead a team and work effectively under pressure.
  5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  6. Experience with cellar management and stock control is essential.
