Treasury Governance & Assurance Leader

This is a dynamic leadership role where you will be responsible for guiding and protecting Treasury & the Bank as it prepares for, and responds to, regulatory changes.

As a seasoned leader, you will be expected to lead the review of Treasury upstream communications to support Treasury management with implementing enhanced Treasury impacting regulatory obligations. You will also be responsible for coordinating reviews and updates of key regulatory documents and procedures, such as Treasury's Order Execution Procedure & Treasury Communication Procedure.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the Bank and externally, building effective relationships and working in a co-operative and constructively challenging manner. Additionally, you will support the planning, prioritisation and execution of enhancements, working with SMT sponsors to deliver these in line with defined timelines and in a cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the review of Treasury upstream communications
  • Coordinate reviews and updates of key regulatory documents and procedures

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and simplify communications
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience leading a team in a Risk, Audit, Regulatory Compliance or Treasury support role
  • Knowledge of Markets in Financial Instruments Directive/Regulation; Benchmarks Regulation; Central Securities Depositories Regulation; European Market Infrastructure Regulation; Market Abuse Regulation; Fourth/Fifth Anti-Money Laundering Directive; Wire Transfer Regulation; Conduct Risk Treating customers fairly and other Wholesale Compliance regulations
  • Highly developed relationship management skills with the ability to interact with Senior Management and/or external stakeholders
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
