Job Title: Senior BizOps Engineer

Overview

The role of a senior business operations engineer is to help teams solve complex problems, improve the full service lifecycle from design to deployment, and promote CI/CD automation and operational gating.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can lead the DevOps transformation by promoting tooling, standards, and change across development, quality, release, and product organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the production readiness steward for Mastercard products, ensuring platform stability and health.
  • Partner with developers to design, build, implement, and support technology services, ensuring operational criteria such as availability, capacity, performance, monitoring, self-healing, and deployment automation are in place.
  • Support daily operations with a focus on triage and root cause analysis, understand the business impact of products, and conduct blameless post-mortems.
  • Lead the DevOps transformation by promoting tooling, standards, and change across development, quality, release, and product organizations.
  • Balance proactive operational improvements with efficient, pragmatic delivery to maximize customer experience and application value.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Coding and/or scripting exposure; interest in automation and modernizing infrastructure.
  • Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
